Movie Review
This movie has a slow start but picks up steam by the intermission despite the script’s plodding pace and a predictable plot point. The director did an excellent job, however. The film’s best asset is the murder mystery, which unfolded quite well in the second half.
Ashish Gandhi’s performance as Babu is solid, but his appearance doesn’t match the character’s personality at all. There could have been more effort put into the production values, even though the cast and crew do a good job.
If you don’t have anything else to watch, take a chance on Director; go in with no expectations and you’ll have a good time.
